PEG Cultural Festival (PEG CULFEST) is a cultural and entertainment festival concept developed around the PEG (Plastico Express Group) a Company, designed to celebrate Cameroon’s cultural heritage while bringing together traditional culture, food, music, dance, entrepreneurship, and community activities.
The name CULFEST is short for Cultural Festival. Cultural festivals commonly bring together performances, exhibitions, food, arts, and community participation; CULFEST is being positioned around that broader idea, with a distinctly Cameroonian focus.
🎭 What CULFEST represents
PEG Cultural Festival – CULFEST can be presented as a platform to:
🇨🇲 Promote Cameroonian culture and traditions
💃 Showcase traditional dances
🎭 Present masquerade dances and cultural performances
🗣️ Promote mother tongues and indigenous languages
🍲 Celebrate Cameroonian cuisine and food culture
🛍️ Provide an exhibition and marketplace for local businesses
🎨 Showcase arts, crafts, fashion and cultural products
🎵 Bring together music and entertainment
👨🌾 Promote farmers, food producers and local entrepreneurs
👩🏽💼 Create opportunities for women and youth
🤝 Connect cultural groups, businesses, sponsors and communities
🌍 The vision
The bigger idea is to make CULFEST a major annual cultural platform in Cameroon—where people can experience different traditions, discover local products, support entrepreneurs, and celebrate Cameroon’s cultural diversity in one place.
It can therefore sit at the intersection of culture + tourism + food + entertainment + business + youth empowerment.

🎪 In simple terms
PEG CULFEST = A celebration of Cameroon’s culture, people, food, traditions, talents and businesses.
Based on the CULFEST concept you've been developing with PEG, I would position it as more than just a festival: a recurring cultural-economic platform that uses culture and entertainment to create opportunities for communities, entrepreneurs, artists, farmers, restaurants and young people.
